Vera Wang recently shocked fans as she graced a red carpet event looking incredible at her age.
Now, Wang has shared how she has managed to stay looking so young at seventy-three.

Vera Wang is one of the most influential fashion designers in history.
But it isn’t her fashion people are talking about at the minute, it’s her age!
She was born in New York City in 1949 to Chinese parents.
Wang first delved into the world of fashion as an editor for Vogue.
Then, she started working for Ralph Lauren from 1987.
She eventually left after 2 years to go and use her talents independently.
Aged forty, the star branched out to launch her very own bridal collection.
Many famous brides have been known to choose Wang’s clothes for their big day.
One of the biggest stars known to opt for a Wang wedding dress is Ariane Grande.
Other celebrities who chose the seventy-three-year-old’s brand include Kim Kardashian, Ivanka Trump, and Mariah Carey.
Wang’s designs have been worn by some of the biggest A-listers on the red carpet too…
Michele Obama, Viola Davis and Sofia Vergara are all known to be fans of her evening wear.
Wang has even designed clothes for the Olympics!
She has a long history of designing figure skating outfits for the games.
The star figure skated herself a bit when she was younger!
In 1968, she even competed at the US Figure Skating Championships.
The native New Yorker wowed at the DKMS Gala 2022 last week.
The event was held at New York’s Cipriani Wall Street.
DKMS is an international nonprofit aimed at fighting blood cancers and disorders.
The event’s website says it hopes to “rewrite stories of loss into those of hope and renewal”.
Wang is a regular attendee, and this time she really wowed in her floor-length evening gown.
The red and white dress allowed Wang to show off her arms and back.
The seventy-three-year-old paired her elegant outfit with an edgy pair of block sunglasses.
Who would have expected anything less from the queen of fashion?

Fans couldn’t help but wonder how Wang has managed to stay looking so young.
During an interview with the BBC, Wang revealed some of her secrets.
“I’ve been asked — what are my secrets? And I’ve gotta be really honest.
“One of them is sleeping,” she said.
Who knew it was so easy?!
Wang revealed that she “values” having a vodka cocktail at the end of the day…
As it helps her “transition from a very intense work schedule to a bit of a private life.”
As well as sleep and vodka, she said her work is an attribute of her youthful appearance.
“I’ve been in fashion since I was nineteen years old. Not in front of the camera, behind it.
“I never thought about youth, probably because I work with the most beautiful women in the world on a daily basis.
“And because of that, I envision them more as my muses, and maybe it’s a way of dealing with aging that is productive,” Wang said.
As for her workout routine, she told Harper’s Bazaar US that she exercises little and often.
“I usually lift weights, not much — two pounds and three pounds. It takes me a total of five minutes,” Wang said.
Alongside her workout, food is also a key component. Wang admitted she “never misses a meal.”
“I go through phases with what I eat for lunch,” she said.
“I like sashimi with brown rice and vegetables, Chinese steamed broccoli with chicken and rice, or the artichoke salad or fish from Sant Ambroeus.
“I only drink water – I stopped drinking Diet Coke six years ago. That was the hardest thing I ever gave up,” Wang admitted
